Azerbaijani MFA: “The attempts of occupation and border changing are unacceptable in 21st century”

“Occupation fact of areas of neighboring country, ethnic cleansing in the occupied territories and attempts to change border by use of force are unacceptable, said spokesman for the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs Elman Abdullayev while commenting on the statements of Armenian president Serzh Sargsyan in the briefing with EU president Herman Van Rompuy.”

“Such statements are attempt of next populism, cheating the international community and its people. Instead of spending time on baseless accusations, it would be better for president of Armenia to think how to develop their country, which is lagging behind for decades from their neighbors.”

In a briefing with Herman Van Rompuy July 4, Armenian President Sargsyan said that “the threat of use of force and attempts to military provocations are also unacceptable along with chauvinistic statements, intolerance and attempts to reassess history for Europe in the 21st century.
