Baku accuses Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan of deceiving international organizations.
“Sargsyan’s recent statement, which urged that Nagorno-Karabakh will never be part of Azerbaijan, testifies he deceives the international community, UN and OSCE,” Azerbaijani Presidential Administration Social and Political Department Chief Ali Hasanov told journalists today.
Sargsyan made this statement in his interview with the Russian television channel.
“Unfortunately, some international organizations and world decision makers still turn blind eye to these statements by people such as Sargsyan,” Hasanov underscored. “However, their time is reaching the end.”
Hasanov said Azerbaijan has repeatedly stated that it believes in a peace mission of international organizations and in elimination of Nagorno-Karabakh problem and Armenia’s territorial claims against other states by international organizations.
Azerbaijan hopes the Nagorno-Karabakh problem will be resolved with a peaceful means, he added.
“However, Azerbaijan will have to seek other ways to liberate its lands if the international community indicates a weakness before Armenia and turns blind eye to this kind of statements,” Hasanov said.
