Fonnerly, the Museum of bread was the symbol of Agdam. This hospitable land is called the gates of Karabakh.
The Karabakh and the Mil steppes take turns of mountains on the territory of the Agdam district. Wheat, cotton, grape are grown, silkwonn is bred in this dry subtropics. Poets, writers and singers sang the praise of the beauty of Agdam.
The word “ag” means light, white. But now the days of the people of Agdam are rainy and black. The Armenian aggression and the occupation of the region turned the hospitable people into refugees. But wherever you meet them, in tent camps or some temporary refuge, the people will tell you that they still believe in return of their homeland. They live because of this hope.
